Our website address is: https://photoproinsights.com and we write about everything photography. We are an online photography blog (based out of Canada) with one contributors from Canada We aim to make our website accessible for everyone irrespective of which country they are visiting from.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact Forms

If you submit a message through our contact form located on the contact page, your information (email, message, and if inserted your first and last name) may be stored.

Newsletter Subscriptions

If you submit your name/email through our newsletter subscription form. Your data will be sent to our newsletter provider ConvertKit. You can read the privacy policies of ConvertKit here. Please note that you can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time (by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter), we nor ConvertKit will never share or sell your personal information. ConvertKit is Privacy Shield certified and follows the latest EU GDPR guidelines (when you subscribe to our newsletter you will have to give a clear consent that you want to be contacted by us)

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
